RETURN POLICY

ALL FIREARMS SALES ARE FINAL, NO RETURNS WILL BE AUTHORIZED.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO TAKE POSSESSION OF A FIREARM (I.E. CA DROS DENIAL), THERE WILL BE A 15% CANCELLATION FEE OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT DUE, AND ANY TRANSFER FEES OR DROS FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.

ALL PRODUCTS SOLD AS NEW ARE COVERED UNDER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY ISSUES WITH YOUR NEW PRODUCT, PLEASE CONTACT THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER.

TRANSFERS

Most of the largest internet dealers have us in their database. If so, simply choose “Baxt Innovations” from the list of FFL’s – our zip code is 94086.
If we are not listed, provide our name to the dealer and forward us your order confirmation as well as the contact e-mail address for the dealer.

For long gun transfers, everybody needs to bring their drivers license and FSC.

For handgun transfers, everyone needs to bring their drivers license, FSC or Handgun Safety Certificate (HSC) and secondary proof of residency.  The secondary proof of residency can be your DMV registration, a utility bill (water, power, garbage) or a satellite, cable, or internet service provider bill. A hunting or fishing license will also suffice.

PPT (PRIVATE PARTY TRANSFERS): $35.00 PER PPT TRANSACTION ($25.00 DROS + $10.00 DEALER FEE)

PLEASE NOTE:

FOR DEALER TRANSFERS, IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THE DEALER YOU ARE WORKING WITH SUPPLY THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK, INVOICE(S), AND A SIGNED VALID COPY OF THEIR FFL LICENSE.  

WE CANNOT PROCESS YOUR TRANSFER AND DROS OF YOUR TRANSFERRED FIREARM UNTIL WE HAVE ALL THE REQUIRED AND NECESSARY INFORMATION. 

Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC)

To purchase a firearm in California you must possess a valid Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC). We can administer the FSC test and provide the FSC card, which is valid for five years for a cost of $25. For long guns, a valid hunting license is an exemption for the FSC.

If you are purchasing or transferring a handgun through Baxt Innovations you can take the test the same visit you start the paperwork and submit the DROS in order to save time.
